Lane Kiffin claims ref told him 'he would have been killed' if he blew whistle before Kentucky touchdown

During Kentucky's 35-34 win over LSU in Lexington on Saturday, there were a number of consequential plays. That's typically how things work in a one-point game decided in overtime, but it's safe to say one play in the first half will be sticking with LSU head coach Lane Kiffin for quite some time.

With three seconds remaining in the second quarter and the ball on the LSU one-yard line, Kentucky was faced with a decision to make: kick the field goal and tie the game at 17, or grab hold of the momentum with a touchdown.
