Polling for 8 MLC seats in Bihar to be held on October 23

The Election Commission announced October 23 for Bihar Legislative Council biennial elections. Eight seats from Graduates' and Teachers' constituencies will see polls. The notification will be issued on September 29, with nominations closing October 6. Polling will occur from 8 am to 4 pm on election day. Counting of votes is scheduled for October 27.
