India in regular touch with Russian Embassy over crew of detained Unity tanker: MEA

India is in regular contact with the Russian Embassy concerning detained crew members. The Unity oil tanker remains detained near Paradip Port due to a court order. This vessel has been recognized as an abandonment case involving Russian seafarers. Outstanding wages and repatriation for the crew are currently pending. A court hearing for crew repatriation is scheduled for September twenty-first.
