CRPF marks 40 years of women in combat service, to felicitate personnel on September 25

The CRPF is marking 40 years of women in combat service, commemorating the raising of its first women combatant battalion in 1986. The force will hold a special event on September 25 to felicitate veteran and serving women personnel. The CRPF now has six dedicated Mahila Battalions, alongside women serving in Rapid Action Force units, the Bastariya Battalion and other specialised operational roles.
