Himachal: 85 roads closed; wet spell likely to continue till Sep 11

Persistent rainfall has blocked eighty-five roads across Himachal Pradesh. Light to moderate rain occurred in several locations, with Dharamshala recording the highest rainfall. The Shimla Meteorological Office predicts this wet spell will continue until September eleventh. Mandi district faces the most significant disruption, with forty-five roads closed. Since monsoon onset, rain-related incidents have caused one hundred ten deaths and substantial financial losses.
