Auto PLI scheme draws Rs 45,477 crore investment, creates 67,000 jobs: Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy

The auto PLI scheme has attracted Rs 45,477 crore investment and created over 67,000 jobs. Government enhanced electric two-wheeler scheme outlay by Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 11,900 crore. Over 25 lakh electric two-wheelers and other vehicles have already received support. The industry crossed Rs 7.6 lakh crore in FY26 with exports reaching USD 24 billion. India aims to lead global mobility transition through innovation and advanced technologies.
