What looks like a normal Canadian home is actually made from 612,000 plastic bottles

Two Canadian brothers have turned an astonishing 612,000 discarded plastic bottles into a concept home in Meteghan, Nova Scotia. Their company, JD Composites, uses recycled PET foam panels to build homes, with ambitions to take the technology beyond Canada. The brothers hope their innovative approach can eventually be used for tiny homes, emergency shelters, disaster-relief housing, sheds and other structures while giving millions of plastic bottles a second life.
