Global market: European shares dip as fresh US-Iran strikes push oil, bond yields higher

European shares opened lower on Monday as renewed US-Iran military tensions pushed oil prices and bond yields higher, although the STOXX 600 remained on track for its fifth consecutive monthly gain. Energy stocks rose as Brent crude climbed above $90 a barrel, while Germany’s DAX fell ahead of key inflation data. Investors are also watching upcoming eurozone inflation and US payrolls figures for clues on interest rates.
