HDFC Bank next CEO: Check bankers in the running for top job

HDFC Bank has accelerated its search for a successor to CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan, who will not seek an extension, with an executive search firm likely to be appointed this week. The bank is considering both internal and external candidates, including deputy MD Kaizad Bharucha, executive director V. Srinivasa Rangan, former SBI chairman Dinesh Khara, Axis Bank CEO Amitabh Chaudhry and other senior bankers.
