India opens ports, airports to foreign-bound cargo impacted by Strait of Hormuz disruptions

India's ports will temporarily accept foreign-bound cargo diverted from the Strait of Hormuz. Under this measure, unloading, storage, and transshipment will be allowed until October 31, 2026. As per the rules, cargo must remain under customs control and is strictly for onward international transit.
