Monsoon no longer an off-season for Goa as tourist footfall rises

Goa welcomed over 61 lakh visitors from January to July this year. July alone showed a notable year-on-year increase in tourist arrivals. The state is actively diversifying its tourism offerings beyond beaches. Efforts focus on wellness, heritage, and MICE tourism for year-round appeal. Enhanced international connectivity and new markets are also being developed.
