Rs 12.84 lakh, 800g gold seized; TMC leader's ex-bodyguard held in case linked to Bengal stone trader Tulu Mondal

Saigal Hossain, a former bodyguard, was arrested in a document forgery case. Police seized Rs 12.84 lakh in cash, around 800 grams of gold, more than 150 land deeds, a laptop and foreign currencies during a lengthy search. This arrest is part of an intensified investigation into quarry trader Tulu Mondal's assets. Authorities have identified or seized over Rs 150 crore in assets linked to Mondal.
