India to host BRICS Environment Working Group meetings on August 17-18

India will host the 12th BRICS Environment Ministers Meeting in New Delhi on August 18. Senior officers will meet on August 17 to discuss environmental working group priorities. Ministers will deliberate on an outcome document and thematic discussions for cooperation. Priority areas include sustainable lifestyles, afforestation, and disaster resilience. The circular economy and climate adaptation will also be key discussion points.
