Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is reportedly nearing a deal to buy a major minority stake in Liverpool FC as part of a billionaire-backed investment consortium. The proposed deal could see Bezos join investors including Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin in acquiring more than 30% of the Premier League club from Fenway Sports Group. The investment could value Liverpool at around $6 billion.
