US can keep naval blockade on Iranian ports "indefinitely," Pentagon chief says

President Donald Trump asserted complete control over the Strait of Hormuz. The US Navy has redirected over fifty commercial vessels attempting to breach the blockade. Military forces have also disabled and boarded several ships during operations.
