Fourth rail line approved through strategic 'Chicken's Neck' corridor: Official

A fourth railway line has been approved for the strategically important Chicken's Neck corridor. This crucial link connects the Northeast with the rest of India. Infrastructure initiatives include a nearly 29-km double-line underground project near Bagdogra. New local train services are planned from Jogbani, Radhikapur and Balurghat soon.
