Flags should not be thrown on ground or discarded: MHA asks states to adhere to Flag Code

The Union Home Ministry has directed all states to follow the Flag Code. Awareness programs will be conducted regarding the national flag's display. Paper flags should not be discarded on the ground after events. The national flag must always occupy a position of honor. Damaged flags should not be displayed, and no other flag should be higher.
