Strait of Hormuz to stay shut until US ends naval blockade: Iranian FM spokesperson
Iran stated the Strait of Hormuz will not reopen until the US halts its naval blockade. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei attributed the closure to military aggression. He emphasized that reopening depends on conditions imposed by American and Israeli authorities. Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi confirmed no active negotiations are happening with Washington. Technical talks with Oman regarding maritime transit are in their concluding stages.
