Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma visits flood affected areas of Darrang district

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited flood-affected Bengabara and Naharbari villages. He assessed the damage and reviewed ongoing repair works on breached river embankments. The Chief Minister interacted with people taking shelter in relief camps and assured them of full support. He promised special measures to rebuild embankments with enhanced strength for better protection. The state's flood toll has reached 98, affecting 1.55 lakh people across 13 districts.
