Joan Jett cancels remaining 2026 concerts after undergoing surgery for 'fractured vertebrae'
Joan Jett is stepping away from the stage after suffering a serious injury that required surgery.
In a since-expired post shared to Jett's Instagram Story on Tuesday, the 67-year-old rock icon's team announced that her band Joan Jett & the Blackhearts had canceled their two remaining scheduled 2026 concerts in September.
"Following a recent injury, Joan Jett has undergone orthopedic surgery on a fractured vertebrae and will begin the necessary healing process," the statement read, via Rolling Stone.
