Newly-elected members take oath in Rajya Sabha

As the Monsoon session commenced, Rajya Sabha Chairman C P Radhakrishnan officiated the oath-taking ceremony for nine newly elected members. The representatives hailed from states including Gujarat, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh, with others from Meghalaya, Mizoram, Rajasthan, and West Bengal joining in. Notably, some members had already completed their oaths ahead of this session.
