Rohit Pawar joins onion farmers' protest; says govt must buy produce at Rs 25 per kg

NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar led a protest demanding the government buy onions at Rs 25 per kg. Farmers are selling produce at distress prices due to falling rates. Pawar stated farmers are not recovering production costs. He also called for compensation for those who sold onions at low rates. The agitation will intensify if demands are not met.
