CBIC asks GST officers to stop arrests, curb roadside inspections

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has issued new guidelines for GST enforcement officers. These guidelines include stopping arrests and minimizing roadside inspections based on specific intelligence. Furthermore, show-cause notices will not be issued for amounts less than ₹10,000.
