MSCI puts Polycab exit on hold amid insolvency case uncertainty

MSCI has decided to delay the removal of Polycab India from its indices amid insolvency uncertainty. The company was placed on the Insolvency Resolution Process board on October 7. However, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal stayed the company’s admission to the insolvency process on October 9. MSCI continues to monitor the status of Polycab India and any related orders from the NCLAT.
