Mumbai Indians appoint Kieron Pollard as head coach for IPL 2027

Mumbai Indians have appointed Kieron Pollard as head coach for IPL 2027 after Mahela Jayawardene stepped down, ending his decade-long association with the franchise. Co-owner Nita M. Ambani said Pollard, who joined MI as a 22-year-old 16 years ago, understands the team’s culture and brings deep experience, passion and commitment to the role.
