Transgender protesters remove clothes, hurl abuses at police on busy Jhansi road; 5 held

On Saturday evening, a significant protest by transgender individuals occurred near Police Lines, resulting in major traffic disruptions. This protest arose from a dispute between two factions over work area allocations. In an act of defiance, protestors stripped and used vulgar language while obstructing the roadway. Eventually, police apprehended five participants after extensive efforts, each now facing multiple charges under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
