Festive shopping takes a hit as protests empty Delhi’s Khan Market, Connaught Place

Retailers in Khan Market and Connaught Place report a 90% drop in footfall due to ongoing protests. The disruptions have led to extensive financial losses, impacting inventory and sales during the festive season. Traders' associations are considering legal action to relocate the protest site from Jantar Mantar to avoid future losses. Safety concerns have also caused employee absenteeism, further complicating store operations.
