Eight BJP, two SP candidates from UP elected unopposed to Rajya Sabha

All 10 Rajya Sabha candidates from Uttar Pradesh have been declared elected unopposed on Friday. This includes eight candidates from the Bharatiya Janata Party and two candidates from the Samajwadi Party. The need for these elections arises as the terms of the current members end on November 25. While most candidates have collected their certificates, one candidate has not yet done so.
