Mamdani dined at NYC restaurant linked to anti-Israel menu after being booed at Oct 7 vigil: report

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani dined Wednesday at a Palestinian restaurant whose sister location faced intense criticism in 2023 over menu language that critics called antisemitic.

Mamdani ate at Ayat Hinds Hall on the Upper West Side. The restaurant chain, which also operates a location in Brooklyn, drew sharp pushback for featuring a section on its menu titled "From the River to the Sea."

The Anti-Defamation League defines the phrase as an implicit call for the eradication of Israel.
