Wife sent husband to a mental health centre after a divorce fight, he spent 42 days there; Uttarakhand High Court orders him to be released

A man was admitted to a Dehradun wellness facility by his wife amid their ongoing divorce dispute. After spending 42 days there, he approached the Uttarakhand High Court through a habeas corpus petition. The court found that the facility could not produce the medical certification required under the Mental Healthcare Act and ordered his immediate release.
