Schneider Electric is reportedly nearing a deal to acquire US-based software company PTC for about $20 billion. The Financial Times highlighted that negotiations might result in an announcement by Monday. PTC, based in Boston, has a current market value of approximately $15.63 billion as per LSEG data. In July, the company increased its revenue forecast following strong demand for its industrial software.
