Pharma sector revenue to grow 11-13 pc in FY27 on strong exports, domestic demand: Crisil

India's pharmaceutical sector is projected to grow at 11-13 percent this fiscal year due to export increases. The domestic market is also expected to expand by 9-11 percent as prescription demand rises. Strong cash generation and healthy balance sheets will help maintain credit profiles despite margin pressures. Cost inflation from raw materials and freight may compress operating margins by 150-200 basis points.
