Yankees' World Series hopes take major hit as Aaron Judge may not be on postseason roster with calf injury

The New York Yankees may have a Judge-sized hole in their lineup for the postseason.

Aaron Judge had a platelet-poor plasma injection into his right calf during the team’s off day on Monday following its return from Arizona, manager Aaron Boone said. The injection puts his status for the postseason in doubt.

"We’re planning on him not being a part of that, but we’re also at [that] time of the year, you hear all the time with injuries, you give ranges two to four weeks, four to six weeks," Boone said.
