Stanford AI photo controversy: White male student replaced by Black woman in ad, ‘silenced and erased’

A Stanford student newspaper reported that an official dining hall photo was edited using AI, with students saying their appearances were changed in the final version. One student said he was replaced by a Black woman, while two others reportedly had their faces visibly slimmed. Two other students pictured with Ramirez also had their images changed using AI.
