Granville Ecopark in Dungannon, Northern Ireland, uses food waste in enhanced anaerobic digestion to produce biogas and renewable electricity. The facility has capacity to export 4.8 MWe of renewable electricity to Northern Ireland’s local grid, while excess biogas can be converted into biomethane for renewable heat and power.
