IIT Bombay suicide: IIT Delhi faculty forum backs Prof Doolla, flags 'mob-driven behaviour'

The IIT Delhi Faculty Forum has backed IIT Bombay professor Suryanarayana Doolla, named in an FIR following the suicide of 20-year-old student Sahil Wakode, and raised concerns about “mob-driven behaviour” influencing institutional decisions. Doolla was the invigilator during an exam where Wakode was allegedly caught using a mobile phone. The allegations remain under investigation.
