CGHS expands coverage: Now these relations will also be covered in Central govt Helath Scheme

The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) has expanded eligibility to adopted sisters of beneficiaries, while revised rules allow married dependent sons and brothers with critical, terminal or specified chronic illnesses to continue receiving medical benefits. The changes broaden family coverage without changing the contribution paid by the primary CGHS cardholder.
