Satya Niketan tragedy: Supreme Court may examine building safety, construction violations across India

The Supreme Court on Tuesday indicated it may examine building safety and construction norm violations on a pan-India basis following the five-storey building collapse at Delhi’s Satya Niketan that killed seven people. The bench is also considering transferring proceedings on the incident from the Delhi High Court to itself.
