India clears ₹1.10 lakh crore defence acquisitions for Army, Navy and Air Force
The Defence Acquisition Council approved acquisition proposals valued at approximately Rs 1.10 lakh crore. About ninety-eight percent of these procurements will be sourced from Indian industry. The Indian Army will receive Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Recce Vehicles and High Mobility Vehicles. The Indian Navy will procure Arudhra Radars and Marine Gas Turbines for propulsion. The Indian Air Force will strengthen fighter and transport aircraft capabilities.
