CM Vijay loses cool, says personal attacks against women 'unacceptable' amid Trisha remark controversy

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay hit out at "double-meaning" and abusive language against women during his reply to the demand for grants for the police department in the state Assembly. He also cited an Enforcement Directorate letter to renew allegations over party funds collected during the DMK regime, and invoked Kavignar Kannadasan and the late J. Jayalalithaa while criticising the opposition's conduct in the House.
