Global Market: China stocks range-bound as tech gains offset bank, insurance sector losses

Chinese stocks were largely range-bound on Monday as gains in technology shares offset losses in banks and insurers following Beijing’s $54 billion capital-injection plan. The Shanghai Composite slipped 0.2%, while the CSI300 gained 0.2%. Investors also monitored China-US relations, US rate expectations and semiconductor demand.
