Uttarakhand govt seals unrecognised madrasas in Dehradun, Haldwani; 20 institutions shut so far

The Uttarakhand government has sealed unrecognised madrasas in Dehradun and Haldwani as part of an ongoing crackdown on institutions operating without prescribed recognition and academic standards. Authorities said 17 madrasas have now been sealed across the state, while three others discontinued operations, taking the total number of unrecognised institutions closed to 20.
