Hindutva influencer Swatantra Bhardwaj sent to one-day police custody

Swatantra Bhardwaj was produced before a Delhi court and remanded to police custody. He was detained after the CJP demanded his arrest over an alleged assault. Provisions of the SC/ST Act and criminal intimidation were added to the FIR. A POCSO case was also registered against him following an interview. Fresh FIRs were filed after a minor activist alleged online threats and harassment.
