Amazon engineer gives up Rs 46 lakh package for Indian Army, set to be commissioned at OTA Gaya

Shardendu Tiwari, a 27-year-old cloud engineer, chose service over a Rs 46 lakh salary. He declined an offer from Airbus to join the Indian Army. Tiwari, a second-generation soldier, was commissioned at OTA Gaya. He appeared for selection eight times before succeeding through the Technical Entry Scheme. His father served 36 years in the Army Service Corps.
