Ganga river crosses warning level, boat services suspended in Varanasi

Boat services are currently suspended on the Ganga river in Varanasi due to rising water levels that have exceeded safety limits. The local authorities have intensified monitoring in flood-impacted areas, strongly recommending residents to steer clear of ghats. The Varuna river has impacted 328 families, and preparations for evacuations are underway. Thirteen relief camps are active and accommodating 935 displaced individuals, with officials on constant alert to address emergencies.
