Dubai airport set to ease security checks with scanners that keep laptops, liquids in bags

Dubai International Airport is installing advanced security scanners that will allow passengers to keep laptops, liquids and other items inside their hand luggage during screening. Dubai Airports CEO Paul Griffiths said the machines are already being introduced as part of a wider upgrade across DXB. The airport aims to reduce queues, simplify security checks and make passenger journeys more convenient.
