MCX logs record daily turnover of Rs 62.93 lakh crore amid strong activity

MCX recorded its highest-ever daily turnover of Rs 62.93 lakh crore on August 28, driven largely by options activity across more than 3.13 crore contracts. The record comes as the exchange strengthens its physical-derivatives market linkage through standardised delivery norms, supporting greater participation, hedging and depth in commodity markets.
