NDRF says no impact of Nepal flash floods in UP, Bihar till now; continuous vigil on

No adverse impact from Nepal flash floods has been observed in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The National Disaster Response Force is continuously monitoring the border areas and coordinating with state governments. Twenty NDRF teams are deployed on the ground for potential relief and rescue operations. India has already sent humanitarian aid and disaster relief cargo to Nepal. Additional NDRF rescuers are on standby for deployment if requested by Nepal.
