You may soon have to pay a lot less for onions in Delhi-NCR; what you need to know ahead of festive season

The Centre plans to sell onions at Rs 35 per kg through mobile vans. This intervention aims to provide relief to consumers facing rising prices. Subsidised onions will be available across Delhi-NCR later this week. The government is also transporting onions from Nashik via special trains. Onion availability remains comfortable despite recent retail price increases.
