Abandoned since 1989, Spain’s Salto de Castro village has a new owner after American Jason Lee Beckwith bought the historic settlement for €310,000 ($363,000). He plans to invest up to $7 million to restore its 44 homes, church, school and bar and turn the deserted village into a tourism and residential complex.
